SMH is committed to meeting this growing need in our
community by building a Regional State-of-the-Art Cancer
Center. The Center will provide citizens with leading edge
diagnostics and treatment protocols and a multispecialty
approach. The Center will also allow participation in research
as SMH affiliates with the National Cancer Institute's
"Community Cancer Centers Program."
Bringing Cancer Care to a New Level…
Research indicates that cancer patients who are diagnosed
and treated in a setting of multispecialty care and clinical
research may live longer and have a better quality of life.
